Graphology - Handwriting Analysis
Graphology is the study of behavior as it manifests in handwriting. It comes from two Greek words, ‘graphein,' which means "to write," and ‘ology', meaning "the study of..." Therefore, when combined, Graphology means ‘study of writing.'
Graphology - also known as Handwriting analysis - is used worldwide as a psychoanalytical tool to give us insights into someone's personality. There is considerable scientific evidence to suggest that since our hand (and thus writing) moves as a result of electrical impulses from our brains, our handwriting is a very accurate representation of our state of mind, and the way we think and behave.
Just as your personality may change over time, so can your handwriting. Various external factors, such as physical or emotional trauma, like a death in the family, divorce, health problems, or a job change, may cause a writer's handwriting to undergo some alteration. Some medications, as well as alcohol and "recreational" drugs, may also have either a temporary or a lasting effect on the writing and potentially affect the handwriting analysis results somewhat. Because there is such an enormous range of variation in people, no method of personality assessment is perfect, including handwriting analysis. However graphology is a highly reliable and accurate tool when used as instructed.
Graphotherapy is a process where by making small changes in your handwriting you can positively alter unconscious patterns of thinking and behaviour; helping you to live life in a more self-aware and ultimately more productive way.
